I actually took some time off the past few days. I still worked some but not nearly as much I normally do. I even watched a movie, Flash of Genius. The plot consists of Robert Kearns taking on the Detroit automakers who he claims stole his idea for the intermittent windshield wiper. I had always wanted to see the movie about how this all happened. I enjoy movies based on true stories. It's definitely worth checking out if your are interested.

Lela Star and I are planning a live cam show for the second week of this month. As soon as I know the date I will let you know. This will be her very first live cam show!! I just got home from taking a lunch break with my cousin, Danielle. She also moved here from the Midwest years ago but now she will be moving to Canada soon. The biggest deciding factor in her mind is the healthcare system here. It's amazing the differences in the countries. I'll miss her but I understand completely. I think more and more people are going to be forced to do this if the system doesn't change. So, this is where I should be writing, “Dear Mr. President....” especially considering it is Presidents Day. Mr. Obama is coming to my home state, Arizona tomorrow due to this state having one of the highest forclosure rates in the US, so I have heard and seen actually too. The housing market prices have gone way down. ok... so this turned into a depressing blog but after visiting with my cousin, all these issues are on my mind right now. They are real and cannot be ignored.

My job is to get your mind off of all of this even if it's just for a short while. At least, I hope to do that. We all need to release and relax thats for certain!! I have a live cam show tomorrow if you want to come play with me live for an hour. I'll bring the toys

It's Monday and it's rainy and cold out but I am still very warm all over from playing with Hot, petite diva Lela Star yesterday. I am still recovering from the weekend. I am weak when it comes to partying or even staying up really late. After the live cam show Saturday night, I finally got home at 4am Sunday! Just in time to get some rest before Super Bowl Sunday. *sigh* I can't even bring myself to talk about the loss. I am proud of the Cardinals though!! It was an exciting game and brings my dislike for the Steelers to a whole new level. Some of my closest friends are Pittsburgh fans so if any Steelers fans are reading this don't take it personal. *wink* You guys just have some really MEAN players on your team. ok... I am done. *sigh* But, I know, I know they won so ok... Congrats.

So, Saturday night was one to remember. Brandon is not one to dance and he was dancing his ass off a lot of the night. I was impressed with his hip grinding. We were all so silly... Lately it seems like my days are one big video editing blur after another but hey... at least it is something fun to look at, naked girls, sex... so??I shouldn't complain.? We are about to launch Lela Star's new official website very soon. It's a lot of work that goes into a website. I have been approached more than usual lately about how to get into the business and start a website, especially when people are losing their jobs left and right. There is so much to teach and tell that is hard for me to say where to start. It's even harder now that the web is so saturated than years ago.? I started out with no knowledge at all of the business and basically started blindly. For me it was more of staying with it, not giving up and ambition.? The best advice I can give for someone that wants to start really any online business is to stay true to your goal and vision. It's going to be like being on a roller coaster. To me, success is more about being driven than anything else not? waiting for it to come to you. I should mention too that when I started I was broke and lived in a tiny little apartment. I scraped up enough money somehow to start by working at a regular 9 to 5 job. I remember getting my car repoed too among other depressing events. I have been there. I strongly believe that things will change, if you are driven to help it come.

Oh.... just an fyi. I sent out a mailing to let people know that I am not on myspace or facebook. They are fake accounts.? So, if you thought you were talking to me or leaving me comments. It was not me.? My website is the only place you can get in touch with me.? It was just a personal decision, those places are great for networking but also full of mostly minors which for me wasn't cool.? My website island is for adults only obviously:)

Saturday was a day I will not forget in my website adventures. My day started bright and early (well dark and early). I had video cameras following me for about twelve hours that day. It was for a special feature on Playboy tv which will air in January. I'll give more details as it gets closer to airing. The two hosts were young comedians with a “SuperBad” movie flavor. I am so happy the weekend is over, it was a bad one. I accomplished a lot so far this week. I had a few interviews trying to find a new tax accountant and it went well so I can check that off the list. So, life can change quickly sometimes in the blink of an eye. I spent Friday night and Saturday in the hospital with a family member once again due to motocross. I am so done with the sport. I've always been a risk taker in my life and it can be good and bad. My family member is now home and ok. They kept him for observation due to fluid in his pelvic region which males aren't suppose to have. They were worried about an intestinal tear due to the bikes handle bars going into his lower stomach. I have always known with this sport comes injuries, it's only a matter of when. I just give thanks for all the protective gear he was wearing which kept him somewhat safe. So, we have had enough and it's going to be a lifestyle change but it is better than ending up in a much worse circumstance. There have been one too many trips to the trauma center. This, I know is a personal blog but I am just need to air my thoughts out. The guilt is eating me up.

So, that pretty much sums up my weekend. I hope you all are safe, having fun and getting some relaxation in if possible.

Next weekend, on Saturday I have a special live cam show with my girlfriend, Vanilla with a Super Bowl theme because the game is Sunday!!! The show will be at 8:00 pm est. Hope to see you there!

I keep receiving these kinds of e-mails over the years as well as postings sometimes on my fantasy board over the years. I decided to post one of them as well as respond to it here on my blog. Here is the letter I got in my inbox below and my response:

I don't approve of the industry which you are a part of, but I respect of its people, and I don't think of them as evil, though I may think the choices are. I'm not someone looking to bash or judge, but I just want to ask why do what you do? Do you ever consider the consequences? Do you consider the right and the wrong? Do you truly believe what you do is acceptable for yourself and those who view you? We are all adults here and are free to make any choice we wish to make. But whether its right or not is always up for debate. Do you have God in your life, what do you think of faith, religion, afterlife, heaven, hell, all that jazz? What do you think of people who criticize the industry and its members?

I know this is a lot and they are personal questions. I'm trying to understand what goes on inside the minds of people in the adult industry. I know you and everyone else are regular people, making a living. I'm gonna be frank and say I believe it's sinful, but I know there's plenty of good in everybody. Like I said, I'm not trying to judge, insult, or waste your time. I want to be informed, from your perspective, because you make choices and live with them.

If it's not too much to ask, could you write me back and answer these questions frankly and honestly. It would be much appreciated. Thank you, and God Bless

Dear Matt,

Over the years, I have gotten many letters just like yours of people trying to understand why we do what we do for a living and what is going through our minds. I am by no means a lobbyist for the adult industry. I would probrably be considered conservative in our industry considering the extremes of porn that their are.

I have chosen to be in the sex industry for some different reasons... I was not happy with the office jobs that I was doing. I wanted to be my own boss someday. I honestly was attracted to the high end glamour porn videos that I watched. I loved the hair, makeup and was interested in how it all worked and of course it aroused me. I had met an incredible couple in Michigan early on that ran an adult website who were two of the most down to earth, kindest people you'd ever come across and seemed sincerely happy and were doing well financially. On the way home, that is when I decided to go ahead and start a website.

Yes, I consider all the consequences because unfortunately to many adults sex is still taboo and considered sinful. What amazes me is some of those same people support war and the world is full of violence. I have lost some friends, dirty looks from neighbors, gossip, lawsuits and have lost some family too. On the other hand, I found new friends, unconditional love from close family members, and happiness! I am not a judgmental person so if someone doesn't like what I do then so be it. I will not go to your doorstep and give you a pamphlet on my website and encourage you to join. Which is what happens often here in Arizona, solicitation of different religions is rampant. Let me pray in the privacy of my own home and my own time.

No, not everyone is going to find what I do acceptable and that is okay. I have come to accept the judgment. I love my job and I am not ashamed of what I have become.

In an ironic way, being in the adult industry has taught me a lot about life and people. I am actually more confident about my body and self than I ever have been. So, in ending I hope this sheds a little light on my thoughts. Take care and have fun in life!

Well, my football picks clearly sucked this week as you see below. So far nine out of fourteen, it's not terribly bad though hoping I'll get a Tennesee win tonight. Simply things like football make me happy:)

Sadly, I know what most likely happened to my kitten, Tommy, that got out more than a few weeks ago. There have been several sightings of groups of bobcats really close to my home and the fact that I have no neighbors on one side of me where it is more open and lots of places to hide, prey and attack. I am really upset about losing him. I have gotten a new kitten not to replace him but for a buddy for my other adult cat, Mikey. The one we lost was his best buddy. I have learned that bobcats rarely will attack humans because they get easily scared by us so they recommend if you see one in your yard to spray it with water if you can or make a loud noise. It would be really exciting to see one because I am a huge cat lover but at the same time I'd probrably freak out too! Thats one huge pussy!! lol

This coming Wednesday, the 10th will be an Arizona Cardinal Division Champ live cam show theme! I am buzzing right now on caffeine. I rarely drink it so it really makes me feel wired. I was up at 5am this morning and have already accomplished a lot. I am on a writing kick. I just returned from the airport to drop off my mom to go back to cold and snowy Ohio. It's always a sad day to have to say goodbye but the good news is she may be moving out here to Arizona this year, sooner than later if I have anything to do with it.
